The Voice of the Nation Ensemble

The Cape Town Opera Voice of the Nation Ensemble, consisting of 23 professional singers from across the country, forms the core of Cape Town Opera’s Chorus. The Ensemble members perform in the company’s main opera productions, sing at various corporate functions, educational school tours, public concerts and fundraisers. Their continuing education at Cape Town Opera includes master classes, individual voice lessons, physical fitness training and music and stagecraft instruction. Under the guidance of Chorus Master Albert Horne, the Voice of the Nation Ensemble has performed at numerous local and international venues and events, with an extended repertoire in various genres.
