Sponsors
Cape Town Opera has developed long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with a variety of sponsors and donors, both nationally and internationally, from the public and private sectors, individuals, private trusts and foundations.
These collaborations not only ensure the successful realisation of funders’ social responsibility and marketing interests, but also secure Cape Town Opera’s continued efforts to transform the opera and performing arts sector in South Africa, providing our local singers and performing artists with the necessary skills, training and job opportunities that allow them to pursue a career in the arts.
Benefits:
As a registered Non-Profit Organisation, Cape Town Opera offers extensive tax benefits to all its sponsors, donors and patrons, as well as individualised and funder-specific benefit packages. The company provides unmatched marketing exposure and return of investment to our funders, reaching an estimated audience of between 150 000 to 200 000 each year through our productions. Through extensive print media campaigns (magazines, newspapers, posters, leaflets, billboards, adverts in programmes and annual brochures), as well as electronic media campaigns (including radio, television, internet and e-mail), Cape Town Opera ensures the visibility of our sponsors, their Corporate Social Investment interests and support of the arts in South Africa.
We are also able to provide sponsors with extensive branding opportunities at special events, opening night performances, as well as specialised brand exposure through marketing agreements with major shopping centres, tourist and theatre centres. Sponsors furthermore receive complimentary tickets to our productions, while Vocal Ensemble and Opera Studio members are made available to perform at corporate functions.
Cape Town Opera’s profile proves that now more than ever, opera has a place in South Africa. The transformation and empowerment of our local performing artists and the drive to make opera accessible to all, would not have been possible without the support of our funders.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of the following sponsors, partners and trusts for helping us to keep the nation singing:
